Congratulations and farewell to Kate Seethaler!

Kate Seethaler, beloved ECDC founding company member and Artistic Partner, says so long (for now) as she’ll be entering Smith College’s Master of Fine Arts program in Dance this fall 2014. Kate’s impact on our community and the Connecticut dance scene is immeasurable, and she will be missed greatly.  We love you, Kate. Shine on!

ECDC performs 9.5.14

ECDC will perform Sep 5th, 6-8pm, during On9 in downtown New Haven.  Commissioned by Artspace, as part of the “Vagaries of the Common’s” exhibit curated by Sarah Fritchey, ECDC will perform in public spaces in the 9th square district. Performances will take place in the following locations: Artspace, Orange St and Chapel St.

Partnership with New Haven Ballet

NHB to Partner with Elm City Dance Collective: As part of a new initiative, ECDC’s Kellie Lynch will bring professional dancers from ECDC’s professional company to NHB for a professional, advanced level contemporary class, which will be open to NHB students as well as adult open division dancers from within the New Haven community! Classes begin this Fall 2014 in Danspace on Wednesdays from 7-8:30 p.m
